ArtCentrica

The relationship between art and public: the “Cosa è Arte” competition aims to explore this relationship, as a driving force for the involvement of citizens in the protection of our cultural heritage.
57 young national artists accepted the invitation: the first edition of the competition, promoted by Iuvart – LoveItaly and Bettoja Hotels, saw ArtCentrica as a partner for the creation, through ArtCentrica ad Hoc, of the platform that makes all the works of the competition available online.
The twenty finalist works were exhibited on display in the spaces of the Pastificio Cerere Foundation in Rome.
During the final, a jury of industry professionals selected the four winning works, one for each of the following categories: adherence to the concept; experimentation of the technique; ekphrasis: relationship between word and work; sustainability. There was also the category loved by the public, i.e. the most voted work during the opening of the exhibition and which actively involved visitors.
