ArtCentrica

Fiera Didacta Italia, the most important event dedicated to innovative didactics, has come to an end. We are delighted with these three rich and exciting days!
First of all, we would like to thank all of you, teachers, students, and visitors. We noticed great participation and interest at our stand in the Start-Up Area of Edtech Italia. Our super-team (led by our CEO & Co-Founder Marco Cappellini, together with our Product Manager Elisabetta Accorsi, our teacher and Educational Designer Céline Ona, our Business Developer Irene Arrighi, our Community Developer Sara Ollani, and our Head of Design Jonela Llaci) welcomed you in great numbers during the three days, showing you all the features of our interactive teaching platform, ArtCentrica EDU, which through art offers teachers and students an engaging and interdisciplinary learning experience specifically built for the development of fundamental and transversal soft skills such as creative thinking, analytical thinking, curiosity, sharing, and empathy.
On the second day, during ‘Cards in play: between cards and screens, art is revealed‘, in the EdTech Italia spaces, we then had the pleasure of sharing our Art’Cards with the public: our Céline Ona and Sara Ollani involved visitors in an exciting and entertaining game through special cards linked to our platform. We would like to thank everyone who participated and enjoyed playing cards with art!
During the last day, our CEO and co-founder, Marco Cappellini, had the honour of speaking about the release of the FutureArt Education project, thanks to the support of the Regional Council of Tuscany with ArtCentrica and the Liceo Artistico Statale di Porta Romana e Sesto Fiorentino. An innovative didactic project that brings our ArtCentrica EDU platform into the three-year classes for an active and interactive learning of art, and also gives students the opportunity to take an active part in the construction of content through historical research and the collection of useful data for the cataloguing and digitization of the works of the Ceramics Museum of the Liceo Artistico di Sesto Fiorentino.
It was a wonderful afternoon that saw the active participation of the students, and in which we also had the opportunity to learn about the Generazione News project, the Tuscan students’ newspaper produced in collaboration with the Foundation and ODG Toscana, the Regional School Office (USR) of Tuscany, and with the support of the Regional Council of Tuscany.
Freedom, innovation and participation are the three keywords that the Regional Council wanted to share with the students at Didacta.
Thanks again to the students and teachers present, to the President of the Regional Council of Tuscany, Antonio Mazzeo, to the headmistress of the Liceo Artistico Statale di Porta Romana e Sesto Fiorentino, Laura Lozzi and to the History of Art teacher, Maria D’Ermoggine.
